WHAT IS A GICLEE?
A Giclee (pronounced geeclay) is a reproduction of a painting printed on canvas.  Modern giclees use archival inks to produce the most durable picture of any color print technology to date.  It will resist humiditiy and UV rays for at least 80 years, and, when sprayed with a protective finish, a giclee can be framed without glass, matting, or mounting board.  Just hang it in a beautiful frame and it will be virtually indistinguisable from an original oil.
But a giclee is not only durable it is practical.  It's easier to transport and to hang because it's lighter.  There's nothing to break, crack, or clean.  It looks and hangs so much like an oil painting that it simply must be placed in a room with furniture.
So you can purchase a giclee from my galleries with the assurance of it's durability and likeness to the original oil, with all the features that make it a premier value for the discriminating collector.
