WHAT IS A GICLEE'?
     A Giclee' (pronounced geeclay) is a reproduction of an oil painting that has been printed on canvas.  The combination of archival ink and canvas produces the most durable finish of any print technology to date. A giclee will resist UV rays and humidity for at least 80 years and when given a final varnish, it can be framed without glass, matting, or mounting board. Just hang it in a beautiful frame and it will be virtually indistinguishable from an original oil.
     But a giclee is not only durable it is practical. It's easier to transport and to hang because it's lighter. There's nothing to break, crack or clean. It looks and hangs so much like an oil painting that it simply must be placed in a room with furniture.
